DERA GHAZI KHAN: The divers of Rescue 1122 on Thursday culminated its operation with fishing out of all 18 bodies of devotees drowned after a tractor-trolley plunged into DG Canal at (*18*) Bhanda close to Choti Zareen final Friday.
According to Asad Mustafa, the spokesperson for Rescue 1122, the rescuers recovered bodies of Ruqqia, 40, five-year-old Wafadar and three-month-old Abdullah on Thursday, taking the quantity of recovered bodies from the canal to 18.
He knowledgeable that the operation used to be finished on 7th day of the tragedy during which 18 devotees who had been travelling to Sakhi Sarwat to wait a good, had drowned after the tractor-trolley they had been travelling in, skidded of street and plunged into the canal.
According to preliminary investigation, rushing and failure of brakes of the automobile resulted within the tragedy. The file added that the motive force misplaced keep watch over of the tractor-trolley at a speed-breaker at the street because of which it skidded off the street and plunged into the canal.
