LAHORE: PML-N Senior Vice-President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz on Thursday submitted her nomination papers to contest election at the Punjab Assembly seat PP-149 Lahore, ARY News reported.
Her nomination papers had been submitted via Malik Liaquat Awan and recommend Kanal Liaquat.
In the 2018 common elections, Marghoob Ahmed used to be elected MPA from PP-149.
Earlier, it emerged that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Maryam Nawaz has determined to contest upcoming elections for Punjab Assembly from Gujranwala.
The PML-N senior vp will contest the election from PP-63 constituency of Gujranwala, it emerged.
Maryam Nawaz passed over her nomination papers to Shoaib Butt, town vp of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
In a remark, Shoaib Butt stated that Maryam’s nominations papers can be submitted to the Returning Officer’s (RO) workplace day after today via the latter’s attorney.
Yesterday, former Punjab leader minister (CM) Hamza Shehbaz submitted his nomination papers for 3 constituencies of Lahore to contest upcoming elections for provincial meeting.
The former Punjab CM submitted his papers from PP-147, PP-147 and PP-163 and he would participate within the Punjab elections from the 3 constituencies of Lahore.
