Prime Minister: Nawaz Sharif can contest elections after completing 5-year disqualification

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that there are no restrictions on former Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Nawaz Sharif to participate in the elections, as he has completed his five-year disqualification period. He mentioned that the new law passed by the Parliament overrides the previous law that has not been annulled by the Supreme Court yet. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that Nawaz Sharif will return and face the law, and that the nation will welcome him. He also discussed other political matters, such as the Supreme Court’s decision on legislation and the controversy over the appointment of the army chief.
