LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Monday challenged the imposition of Section 144 after the announcement of the election time table, ARY News reported.
PTI’s Hammad Azhar via his attorney Azhar Siddique filed a plea with the Lahore High Court in opposition to the Election Commission of Pakistan, the caretaker Punjab govt and others.
Azhar in his plea mentioned that Section 144 can’t be imposed after the announcement of the election time table in the world. “Caretaker Punjab govt slapped Section 144 despite the release of the election schedule.”
The LHC has been pleaded with to claim the transfer of the Punjab caretaker government ‘illegal’ and factor tips for the long run.

It could also be famous that the Punjab caretaker government imposed Section 144 two times in the previous week forward of PTI scheduled election rallies.
Meanwhile, the district management of Lahore has allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to carry public rally in the provincial capital, scheduled to happen lately (Monday) in reference to upcoming common elections in Punjab.
Sources instructed ARY News that the Lahore management allowed the political birthday party to carry a public rally at the directions of caretaker Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi.
