Shadab not aware of being rested along with Babar, Rizwan for Afghanistan series
Shadab Khan has printed that he’s not aware of any knowledge relating to being rested for the impending three-match T20I series in opposition to Afghanistan in Sharjah.
According to a media file, the choice panel led via Haroon Rasheed, is thinking about an offer to relaxation some senior avid gamers, together with Babar and Rizwan for Afghanistan series. The file additional added that Shaheen Afridi is prone to lead the Pakistan workforce in position of Babar and the Lahore Qalandars’ captain has been consulted relating to it.
“There is no such thing, if there was such thing then we would have that information. I have spoken to both of them [Babar and Rizwan] and no such thing has been conveyed to them that all of us are getting rested,” Shadab mentioned in post-match convention after Peshawar Zalmi defeated United via 13 runs.
“If we were being rested, then definitely any such thing would have been told to us. If there is such thing, then no one has contacted us,” he added.
Former Pakistan cricketers, Rashid Latif and Ramiz Raja, have slammed the brand new PCB regime, led via Najam Sethi, for looking to create a divide and rule marketing campaign in opposition to Pakistan captain, Babar Azam.
“They [PCB] are trying to rest Babar and Rizwan for a brief period and make Shaheen captain, in order to create insecurity among players and disturb the unity. They are playing divide and rule policy. I don’t think they will be successful,” Latif mentioned.
“Pitting Pak’s core players: Babar, Shadab and Shaheen against each other over captaincy battle will not only destroy a great dug out environment but kill a great white ball story built under Babar. Please learn from history as this is how Pakistan cricket was destroyed in the 90’s,” mentioned Raja.
